Bourns Produces Automotive Product Capabilities Video

RIVERSIDE, Calif., October 6, 2009 — Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that it has posted a new video of the company’s Automotive Division capabilities on its website, The Bourns Automotive Division develops and designs a wide range of customized automotive position, speed and torque sensors and fuel cards. Providing worldwide customer support, these products are manufactured in TS16949 certified facilities throughout Europe, North America and Asia.

“The video illustrates how customers can benefit from Bourns extensive engineering and localized support,” said Jeff Pyle, vice president and general manager of Bourns Automotive Division. “Customers will be able to view Bourns R&D and design group, prototype and sample shop, laboratories and of particular interest, our lacquer production. This core competency is responsible for the development of reliable, long life potentiometers, for which Bourns is renowned in the industry.”

The video was filmed and produced by the Bavarian broadcasting station, Munich TV, which aired the video several times in their business sector programming in July and August this year.
